🚓🚒 Joint School Safety Talk at St Paul's Primary School, Leigh 🚒🚓

Today, PCSOs joined colleagues from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service at St Paul's Primary School, Leigh, to deliver important summer safety talks to pupils.

We discussed the dangers of: 🔥 Starting fires and the serious consequences this can have on people, property and wildlife.

🌊 Open water, including rivers, lakes and canals, highlighting the risks and how to stay safe around water during the warmer months.

📞 Hoax calls to the emergency services, explaining how false reports can divert vital resources away from genuine emergencies.

🏚️ Entering derelict or abandoned buildings, which can pose significant risks due to unsafe structures, hazardous materials and anti-social behaviour.

The pupils were engaged throughout and asked some excellent questions. We would like to thank the staff and students at St Paul's Primary School for their warm welcome and participation.
